ReligiTour – 2nd Transnational Partner Meeting

We are thrilled to announce that the 2nd Transnational Meeting of the ReligiTour project has taken place at the historic Universidad de Salamanca in Spain!

This gathering brought together experts in cultural and religious heritage from Poland, Portugal, Greece, Romania, Italy, and Bulgaria. Over the course of the meeting, we made significant strides in crafting the ReligiTour Conceptual Framework—a cornerstone document that will guide the development of our training course that blends two key areas: the development and promotion of religious tourism, and the integration, preservation, and exploitation of religious heritage.

Our goal is to empower local communities by demonstrating the value of religious heritage as a catalyst for tourism, employment, and community development.

Big thanks to our amazing team of partners and experts for their dedication and insights. Together, we’re transforming how religious heritage and tourism intersect, making them powerful tools for cultural exchange and community enrichment.

Faith moves mountains, and tourism moves millions of people 😉
