The international meeting of the Allon I3 project successfully concluded at the Mechatronics Hub in Termini Imerese, bringing together delegations of entrepreneurs, investors, and stakeholders from various European countries. The initiative, involving partners from Italy, Bulgaria, Portugal, Greece, and Denmark, aims to create regional ecosystems capable of attracting investment and promoting innovation.
Over the course of two days (September 4th and 5th), Sicilian start-ups and local businesses had the opportunity to engage with industry experts, discussing strategies for accessing funding, internationalization, and technology transfer. Among the technical partners involved, the Norwegian organization Norban presented business models and tools for the development of emerging enterprises.
The visit to the Mechatronics Hub allowed participants to explore the infrastructure and services offered to support the growth of start-ups. This was followed by a workshop held at the Cantieri Culturali della Zisa in Palermo, which delved into the role of international cooperation in entrepreneurial innovation.
The event highlighted Sicily’s potential as an innovation hub, creating new networking opportunities among businesses, institutions, and investors. The Allon I3 project will continue in the coming months with further initiatives aimed at supporting start-up growth and strengthening collaboration among innovative ecosystems across Europe.
