Between November and December 2024, PRISM Impresa Sociale brought the spirit of Europe to life through a vibrant series of workshops in Sicily, as part of the WP3 activities!
It all started at the high school I.S.S. Don Colletto (Via Ettore Majorana, 90035 Marineo, Sicily), where three lively workshops were held on 14th November, 15th November, and 6th December 2024. A total of 47 enthusiastic students participated, diving deep into what European values mean to them today.
But PRISM didn’t stop there! To enrich the dialogue even further, an additional workshop was organized in Palermo at a university residence, bringing together 10 on-site university students from various faculties and 5 online participants.
In total, 62 young people engaged in this exciting journey:
- Workshop 1: 17 participants on-site
- Workshop 2: 19 participants on-site
- Workshop 3: 11 participants on-site
- Workshop 4: 10 participants on-site + 5 online participants
The group was wonderfully diverse, with 33 female and 29 male participants — a perfect blend of voices and perspectives!
Each workshop followed an engaging two-part format:
🔹 Part 1 – Exploring European Values: Using a toolkit developed by PRISM, participants reflected on their personal views about the European Union, sparking inspiring and sometimes surprising conversations.
🔹 Part 2 – Understanding Youth Needs: Through interactive activities like scenario analysis, guided discussions, and anonymous questionnaires, participants openly shared their ideas, priorities, and visions for the future.
All the insights, reflections, and creative ideas gathered during the workshops are now feeding into the project’s needs analysis, helping ensure that young people’s voices are at the very heart of future actions. Download the full documet.
