Valletta (Malta), 25–26 June 2025
The third transnational meeting of the European project EcoHoney, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, took place in Valletta, Malta. The project promotes environmental sustainability through the protection of bees and the development of organic beekeeping practices.
During the meeting, partners from seven European countries shared updates on the progress of the project, discussed the training content developed so far, and coordinated the upcoming implementation phases.

Key topics included:
- Reviewing the educational modules on organic honey production, marketing and certification;
- Planning the pilot phase, scheduled between the end of 2025 and early 2026;
- Defining the guidelines for video tutorials and beekeeper interviews, which will play a central role in the project’s training approach.
The learning platform was also officially presented. It will host the training courses, multimedia resources, a digital library, and a discussion forum to foster exchange among trainers, producers, and learners.
The project is progressing according to schedule, with strong engagement from all partners, and aims to deliver practical tools to support the transition toward more sustainable and informed beekeeping practices across Europe.
