On 7–8 September 2026, Palermo hosted the Final Transnational Project Meeting of WELLTEENS, project dedicated to supporting teenagers’ well-being, with particular attention to young people affected by war and forced displacement.
PRISM Impresa Sociale, the Italian partner of the project, took part in the two-day meeting alongside the other organisations of the European consortium to review the results achieved, complete the remaining activities and define the actions required as the project approaches its conclusion.
The meeting gave partners the opportunity to reflect on the work carried out throughout WELLTEENS and review its main results. These include educational resources supporting teenagers’ well-being, a series of 36 educational videos, the WELLTEENS Web App, and materials developed to support young people, educators and youth workers.
Particular attention was devoted to the sustainability of the project results beyond the Erasmus+ funding period. The partnership agreed on a shared strategy to ensure that WELLTEENS resources continue to be available, promoted and used, encouraging their integration into educational activities, youth work and professional practices.
The Palermo meeting therefore represented not only one of the final milestones of the project, but also an opportunity to plan for its future. The aim is to ensure that the tools and knowledge developed remain accessible and useful even after the formal conclusion of the project activities.
For PRISM, the WELLTEENS journey confirms the value of European cooperation in developing practical and accessible tools that respond to the needs of young people while strengthening the skills of those who work alongside them every day.
WELLTEENS is approaching its conclusion, but its resources are designed to continue generating value over time, supporting teenagers’ well-being, resilience and social inclusion.
