We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with expertise in managing directly funded European projects
The Project Manager oversees the entire project lifecycle and is responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and/or directly executing all activities required to achieve project objectives. This includes ensuring the efficient implementation of activities in compliance with European program requirements and PRISM’s quality standards.
The Senior Project Manager will primarily work on projects within the Erasmus+, Interreg, SMP, AMIF, CERV, and Horizon programs, handling tasks such as:
- Developing and writing new project proposals in response to European calls, including defining the consortium, project objectives, and operational plan;
- Analyzing project documentation and requirements to ensure compliance and feasibility;
- Planning and initiating project activities, ensuring smooth implementation from the outset;
- Defining and monitoring project deliverables and milestones to maintain progress and accountability;
- Managing relationships with project partners and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and engagement;
- Coordinating and leading the project team, ensuring efficiency and alignment with objectives;
- Monitoring and evaluating project activities, ensuring timelines and goals are met;
- Handling interim and final financial and technical reporting, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance;
- Organizing and overseeing project-related events and meetings, both online and in person;
- Planning and managing communication and dissemination activities, maximizing project visibility and impact;
- Assessing project impact and evaluating results, ensuring long-term effectiveness and sustainability.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional who has independently managed one or more complete project cycles— from initial design to final reporting— preferably within the framework of the aforementioned European programs.
To succeed in this role at PRISM, candidates must be proactive, results-driven, and detail-oriented, with strong leadership skills in managing international partnerships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Has a strong command of Project Cycle Management methodologies and project management tools, with in-depth knowledge of European policies and funding programs (Interreg, SMP, AMIF, CERV, Horizon);
- Possesses advanced experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and fostering international collaboration;
- Excels in writing and structuring complex project proposals for European funding programs, including both technical and financial design;
- Demonstrates expertise in financial and technical reporting, ensuring compliance and effective project management;
- Has excellent organizational skills, capable of planning and supervising transnational events and meetings, managing all logistical and operational aspects;
- Is proficient in digital tools for document management, content creation, and online communication;
- Is fluent in English (C1 level) and preferably in French (at least B2 level);
- Is available for frequent travel for project meetings and partner coordination.
