We are shaping new possibilities for the Deaf Community!

The Talking Hands consortium is working nonstop to develop a way to improve the quality of life of deaf people and their family/friends.

Talking Hands, in fact, aims at developing an innovative informal methodology for teaching sign language basics in Greek, Slovenian, Croatian, Swedish and Italian!

As of now we are in the early stage of development, and all the partners have made a national research to better understand the context and the real needs of the future users of the platform.

Our main objective couldn’t be reached without the help of the Deaf Community, with whom we are cooperating wonderfully. In order to develop something relevant we met people of all kinds: Sign Language teachers and experts, families and associations!

It was such a pleasure to spend some time with all of them and we would like to say a big THANK YOU for the time given to us, we appreciate it a lot!

The platform will be available for everyone soon, but we are still working on the lessons structure and the videos.

Stay tuned for future developments!
