As part of the EUROPEPLUS project (Reference number: 2021-1-PL01-KA220-SCH-000024024), the international training for educators, facilitators and teachers in the field of school education and training took place from 18 to 20 September 2023 in Krakow, Poland.
Educators from Italy, Spain, Ireland and Poland took part in the training to acquire new knowledge and exchange good practices on teaching European values to their students, as well as to test the tools developed for this purpose by the project partnership.
The training was composted of two phases over three days:
- The first phase involved the presentation of the results produced and their implementation in schools, giving educators the opportunity to understand the framework of the project, its objectives and the work carried out;
- The second phase, which was more practical, allowed for reflection on the impact of the project results on the students, the sharing of ideas and suggestions for improving the results, and the testing of the non-formal education tools developed by the partners, which will then be disseminated to the students in their own national contexts.

The topics addressed by the participants were therefore as follows:
- Development of effective educational tools for teaching European values in schools;
- Development of communication and educational skills for interaction with students;
- Understanding the importance for younger students of learning European values;
- Use of theatre activities for non-formal education in schools.
The three days spent in Krakow thus represented an important opportunity to verify the work carried out, as well as to exchange and compare among the participants, who actively contributed to the training through their own experiential and personal backgrounds, making known the importance and necessity of promoting non-formal education activities for the not only cultural, but also personal growth of young students.
In the near future, the partners, as well as the educators who participated in the training, will continue to adapt the educational tools on the basis of the feedback collected and test them in the field, and then finalise them and make them available on the official project website: https://europeplus.eu/
