The School+Family Alliance (SF+A) project announces the release of its second press release, showcasing the launch of the Handbook for Teachers—a practical and research-based guide designed to strengthen school-family collaboration and prevent early school leaving.
Developed in collaboration with Sofia University, Athens Lifelong Learning Institute, Aproximar, Growth Coop, PRISM, and Ege University, the handbook provides educators with concrete strategies, tools, and activities to engage parents more effectively and support students’ holistic development.
With a focus on building supportive educational environments, the handbook addresses key themes such as the benefits and challenges of parental involvement, the teacher’s role in family engagement, and tailored action plans adapted to each school’s context.
