The project “MIVA -Migrants’ Integration through Volunteering Activities” continues to offer opportunities for meetings at local and international level between different realities that benefit from it.
From the collaboration of the social enterprise PRISM, the Municipality of Marineo, the Social Cooperative Nuovi Orizzonti and the Cultural Recreational Sports Center Oratorio S.Ciro & Giorgio A.S.D. a series of intercultural sports meetings have been organized, in which the people from Marineo, locals and foreigners, belonging to the same local community can meet and play sports together in the open air in the sports field of the Municipality of Marineo.
The sport aims to promote dialogue between the local community with migrants in the area, in a perspective of strengthening local integration.
There will be 15 sports meetings with at least 12 participants for each meeting, starting from the last week of May.
