4Talents
EU Programme: Erasmus+ KA2: Cooperation partnership in adult education
Reference: 2021-1-DE02-KA220-ADU-000035151
Start date: 01/01/2022
End date: 30/06/2024
The project targets young adults from groups with fewer opportunities adrift within the employment market, lacking vocational direction. Such young adults may experience lack of motivation and directions to seek work or to find the education that will assist them.
Young adults from these groups often lack formal qualifications and this is a disadvantage to acquiring employment. 4Talents tackles this by taking a strategically different approach: it maintains that even if an individual has no formal qualifications, he or she has acquired skills simply through living thus far.
The programme assists in the identification and naming of these skills and personal talents, enabling the individual to see then a place for him/herself within the employment market where, as indicated above, young adults from disadvantaged groups are expected to suffer unduly.
4Talents will provide an accessible programme and accompanying training kit containing games, exercises, educational films, tasks, and specially designed software.
- To increase confidence for young adults with fewer opportunities in the ability to tackle the challenges of finding work in the future;
- To raise awareness of educators on the importance of understanding the employability process and its links to issues beyond the integration of young adults with fewer opportunities;
- To improve the level of specialised educators and their trainers with new knowledge, competences and abilities;
- To strengthen institutional capacity of 8 organisations by their direct involvement in the workshops for good practice, multiplier events and their access to all project outputs and experts.
- Identification of challenges young adults with fewer opportunities face looking for a job;
- Identification of a diagnosis system which will support young adults in finding a job;
- Elaboration of new methodologies, based on gamification, to support young adults in finding their talents.
- 4Talents Training the Trainers: mapping activities, developing an in-depth analysis of the opportunities for young adults with fewer opportunities using interactive methods (finding the talents) through games, theatre, puzzles, etc. for finding new skills and abilities for employment;
- 4Talents Diagnosis System for disadvantaged young adults: assisting learners to define personal talents and therefore identification of career paths;
- 4Talents Resource Pack for disadvantaged young adults (Board game);
- 4Talents pedagogical materials dealing with the assessment of learner’s skills and competencies to enable that learner to enter the employment market more strategically.
