The consortium met on the 28th and 29th of June in Palermo, for the second face-to-face meeting, to discuss all the progresses that have been made and the activities foreseen for the next months of the project, which is going to end on the 31st of October!
We are moving on with the results and activities to fulfil, finalizing the outputs already produced. The meeting in Palermo allowed us to complete the Intellectual Output 3: a guide for educators which offers a new kind of methodology for trainers in intercultural work’s programmes. It also includes the knowledge and information about skills that are needed to educate adults and it can be easily used by every person who works with migrants or is willing to in multicultural contexts.
The Guide for Educators can be downloaded from the dedicated page on 2GEM website. Soon it will be available for download in all the languages of the project’s partners (Finnish, Bulgarian, Italian, Czech and Polish).
NEXT STEPS
Only two outputs have been left to complete before the end of the project: a training program for intercultural workers with migrant background (IO4) and an online platform to valorize and use 1.5 and second generation unique culture (IO5). In the second half of September 2022, the partners are going to test for the first time these two results with intercultural workers.
We will meet for the last time in Finland, home of the project’s leading organisation (ASDA ry) for the last transnational meeting and final conference.
