ASPIRE4R is an EU-funded project that aims to support the integration of Roma students in education and vocational training, as well as facilitate their access to the labor market. With the participation of qualified partners such as the Novo Mesto Center for Development and Education from Slovenia, ACTA from Romania, and PRISM Impresa Sociale s.r.l. from Italy, this project has the ambition to change lives and create tangible impact.
At the heart of ASPIRE4R is an innovative peer support model tailored for Roma students in vocational education and training programs. This model aims to reduce absenteeism, facilitate the educational process, and enable students to acquire skills needed in the labor market. It also provides a unique opportunity for Roma students and volunteers to acquire new learning and outreach approaches, thereby increasing their chances of obtaining employment.
But the importance of ASPIRE4R goes beyond its direct impact on Roma students. This project also aims to create best practices that can serve as models to motivate Roma students to enroll in vocational schools, thus contributing to innovation in vocational education and training.
In addition, ASPIRE4R is committed to sharing best practices and exchanging knowledge through video narratives, inspiring and guiding other Roma individuals toward post-primary vocational education.
