The careful reflection on the concept of Global Education, the main focus of the G4YOUTH project, continues as a useful and necessary tool able to develop a correct knowledge of oneself and the surrounding reality.
In a society where everything is a rapid evolutionary process and a continuous course of construction and deconstruction of being and things, it is necessary to rethink and renew the methodologies of knowledge. The project sees the promotion of innovative, inclusive and sustainable educational practices and approaches aimed at achieving a fair, just and dignified society.
On June 20th and 21st 2023 in Brno in the Czech Republic, PRISM and the project partnership were guests of the beautiful organization of PELICAN, for the second international meeting that saw some highlights of the GE4YOUTH project discussed and finalized.
The Partners from Italy, Spain, Ireland, Poland and the Czech Republic discussed the results of the project and future developments in order to promote greater social cohesion, prevent the marginalisation of young people and create tools to strengthen the skills of the global citizens of tomorrow. Moreover, through dialogue and exchange of project information, the Partners have demonstrated and underlined the importance of cooperation not only at local level, but also at international level as a cooperative learning tool that unites the diversity of the whole.
The project that has been realized thanks to the Erasmus+ KA2 program puts a careful reflection on the future educational horizons, focusing on the development of innovative skills by youth workers who represent one of the main elements in the great mosaic of Global Education.
