After the successful experience of 4TALENTS Training for Educators in Ankara, the project’s consortium met again in the sunny Granada during the 20th and 21st of March, hosted by GrowthCoop.
It was one and a half day of discussion about what has been done so far and the next activities to be implemented: all members of the project consortium updated the partners about the work carried out and defined key priorities for the incoming period.
Since the project 4TALENTS aims at supporting disadvantaged young adults to meet the needs and requests of the employment market, the consortium developed a comprehensive handbook – 4Talents Training the Trainers (Educators working with disadvantaged young adults) Package for Europe – divided into modules and tools: 16 modules about the most requested talents in the labour market – such as Communication and Interaction, Time Management, Creative Problem Solving, Identification of Unconscious Biases – plus two tools per module (32 in total) to train one specific talent, recognise and/or develop it. Part of the contents from the Handbook were tested during the Training for Educators in Ankara, and finalised according to participants’ feedback.
The Handbook will be available soon in English and all partner languages (Romanian, German, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Danish and Polish) and it will be downloadable for free from 4TALENTS project website – section “Results”.
Now the consortium is planning the next resources to be developed: A Diagnosis System to support young adults with fewer opportunities in the acknowledgement of their talents and a Resource Pack to foster those talents.
