The project BEAT BURNOUT has started on September 2022 and we eager to listen to stories from women who work remotely and share with you our first newsletter!
The widespread shift to remote work, due to the pandemic, is here to stay. Many companies are trying to keeping up to date, implementing or improving an already existing hybrid model (partly remote, partly at the office). With this project we want to decrease gender gap and prevent burnout in organizations by identifying difficulties for women working remotely.
Our aim, however, is to involve female workers as well as HR managers, leaders, trainers. We would like to know also the difficulties that may arise managing and regulating remote work, and what kind of tools might be needed to face and prevent obstacles and, eventually, burnout syndrome among female workers.
This is the reason why the consortium – consisting of eight organizations working in Sweden, Poland, Italy, Greece, Spain, Ireland, the Czech Republic and Austria – is implementing a field research through questionnaires, surveys and focus groups. During the first phase, we are listening to female remote workers’ instances, concerns, doubts but also hopes for the future. Going on with the project, we will implement the same research with HR managers, managers, leaders and trainers.
Hence, if you are a woman who works remotely at least once a week, we are looking for you! Write an email to s.sucato@prismonline.eu to take part to our focus groups and share your experience with burnout and remote/hybrid working.
