In an increasingly volatile and complex world, suddenly overwhelmed by the global pandemic of COVID-19, non-formal education could prepare young people to take on the challenges they face rather than overcome.

The circular economy: a transformative Covid-19- recovery strategy was published in October 2020 with the aim to show how policy makers can ease the path towards a low-carbon and booming economic recovery. C- ENTRY based on that aims at tackling the specific training, development and transfer of innovation needs of selected sectors in industry and its attempts to adapt to the requirements of the circular economy.

This transition requires a qualified workforce with specific new skills and opportunities for employment. The main project activities focus on concrete, real and measurable actions such as provision and testing of cross-border training and developing new and innovative and interactive educational material.

C-ENTRY’s main objective is to promote employment and entrepreneurship in EU by empowering young people with the capabilities to create co-working and start-up incubators exploiting potentialities offered by circular economy with concrete examples in specific areas: furniture, agro-business and building/housing, as these economic sectors represent strategic fields for EU smart economic and social development.
