On February 17, 2022, the 4 Talents project officially began, online. Unfortunately, it was not possible to meet in person due to the worsening of the pandemic situation.

4 Talents – Take advantage of your own talent for a second chance – is funded by the Erasmus+ programme and it is inspired by the desire to help young people from disadvantaged groups to discover their talents. In fact, usually young adults from disadvantaged groups do not know how to move within the labor market, because they have no professional orientation. The 4 Talents project wants to give the motivation to these young adults so that they can find the right job, according to their talents, or the educational path that better fit to them. The strength of the project is the use of a strategically different approach: 4Talents argues that even if an individual does not have formal qualifications for certain reasons, he or she has nonetheless, over the course of his or her life, acquired skills simply by living. The program assists in identifying and naming these personal talents, allowing the individual to see a place for themselves in the labor market where youth from disadvantaged groups are bound to suffer unduly.

The project has three main outcomes that the partners must achieve over the 30 months of the project. The first outcome is the development of a European training package for educators working with young people from disadvantaged groups. The main goal is to increase the awareness of educators working with this category, so that they can understand the employability process and its links to issues beyond their integration into the local labor market.

During the KOM, the Consortium established templates and timelines on how to achieve the goals of this first outcome.

The second outcome is the development of a diagnostic system for disadvantaged young adults. Finally, the third and final outcome is the production of a board game for the target audience.
