Kick off meeting of the DigitUni project

This week, on February 8th 2022 PRISM Impresa Sociale s.r.l. took part to the virtual Kick off Meeting of the #Erasmus+ KA2 project (Cooperation partnerships in higher education) #DigitUni: Digital readiness and capacity building of humanities professors in universities through partnership with digital technologies companies.

#DigitUni has the ambition of bringing together two worlds which are widely- but wrongly- considered at odds: humanities and ICT. With the aim of supporting academics in humanity faculties to become more innovative and digital effective #DigitUni sets out, during the two years of the project, to fill the informatics gaps still existing in some didactical approaches.  As the Covid-19 pandemic has shown, the use of e-platforms has become paramount in our everyday life -even more in the didactic and teaching methods.

The KOM was the occasion for PRISM Impresa Sociale s.r.l. to first meet the rest of the partnership made up by: Vilniaus Kolegija (Lithuania); Universitatea Transilvania Din Brasov (Romania); Panepistimio Patron (Greece); Fundacja Rozwoju Aktywnosci Miedzynarodowej i Edukacyjnej – FRAME (Poland); Pax Rhodopica Foundation (Bulgaria). Secondly, the meeting provided the opportunity to talk about the first steps of the project, its expected results (such as the creation of the “DigitUni Methodological Framework”; a digital toolbox; and the e-Learning platform), the management’s tools and the project’s calendar.

The partners will meet again at the next Transnational Meeting –this time in presence- hosted by FRAME in Lodz (Poland) next July.

PRISM will keep posting about the #DigitUni projects, its results and its meetings on PRISM’s website and social networks. Stay tuned!
