We want to create something thanks to what people could gain transferable knowledges.
From December 13th to December 15th, 2022, PRISM staff and local stakeholders were involved in a joint staff Training organized by Institut for Roma and Migrants, in Wuppertal, Germany in the scope of the project ACTION – enhAnCe shorT term employabIlity Of migraNts (n. 2020-1-DE02-KA202-007390).
This activity foresaw the participation of local stakeholders, experts and youth workers coming from North Macedonia, Germany, Italy and Greece, thanks to who the partnership received feedback to improve and update the Open Education Resource (OER) of the project. The platform has the aim to ensure the upskilling pathways of VET teachers and staff, towards the promotion of employability of people with a migrant background in Europe.
After a long discussion and a deepen analysis on the right topics, the chosen ones for the platform are:
-
Tourism and Experiential tourism;
-
Programming language (IT topic);
-
Social media.
Thanks to a desk research, the Consortium of the project realized that there is a lack of information on those topics and the aim is to provide to migrants more knowledge in order to give them the possible to choose their working field considering what they are interesting at.
In the next months, in every country partners will work in order to test this platform and start to disseminate the main result.
