MIVA – Call for Selection of Participants for MIVA Capacity Building Workshop
The project “MIVA – Migrants’ Integration through Volunteering Activities” continues to offer meeting and training opportunities for communities at local and international level.
The social enterprise PRISM and the Community Foundation of Agrigento and Trapani in collaboration with the Mediterranean Center “Giorgio La Pira”, the Mondoaltro Foundation, the Solidalia Consortium and the Solima Project promote the MIVA Capacity Building Workshop, a free training course aimed at strengthening the skills of operators and volunteers of the third sector in the field of reception, orientation and integration of migrants and refugees in the local communities of reference, as well as university students interested in deepening these issues.
The training course is structured in three days and will take place in Agrigento on 23rd, 24th and 25th of June 2021. The aim is to provide operators and volunteers of the third sector with key knowledge, techniques and methodologies of non-formal education in the field of reception, orientation and integration of migrants and refugees in local communities of reference.
The promoters of the initiative also want to share good practices and community approaches with reference to the integration of refugees and migrants, intercultural dialogue and the fight against racism.

The course is free of charge for the selected participants.
All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
