The Newcomers@Work partnership continues to move forward with a phase rich in local activity and meaningful progress. Work Package 4 is now fully active, with all partners advancing the process of matching 350 NEETs with 350 employers for mentoring and workplace-based learning.
Each partner is following an approach tailored to their local reality — from collaborations with youth centres and social services, to public calls for employers, to leveraging well-established networks of NGOs and municipal services.
Across countries, youth workers and employers are jointly designing learning pathways and mentoring activities. Early results highlight the transformative nature of this collaboration, benefiting not only the young participants but also the communities around them.
At the same time, National Conferences are taking place across the partnership. These events bring together local stakeholders, employers, public authorities, youth professionals, and NEETs, creating active spaces for dialogue, reflection, and shared learning.
The Newcomers@Work Implementation Guide will soon be available on the project website. It will provide organisations with clear guidance for adapting and applying the project’s methodology — from the curriculum and toolbox to the mentoring structure and action-planning process.
