On 29 and 30 March 2023, the third international training of ENEU took place in Nicosia (Cyprus). The focus was on how to develop new strategies and motivational pathways for migrants, in order to foster their social and professional inclusion.
During the 2-days training, international participants from Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Norway, and Austria worked together to identify individual needs and build a persona approach, enhancing the uniqueness of each migrant and strengthening his/her individual skills.
The ‘@Home In Transition’ (@HIT) methodology was illustrated, by involving local actors and professional trainers in the co-creation of tools and approaches to help migrants reflect on their needs, abilities and therefore look for a job.
In the following months, ENEU European partners will work on the development of several training modules on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, budget management, as well as on the enhancement of transversal and interpersonal skills (including both offline and online communication skills) to be spent by migrants in their daily work.
The training in Cyprus was an important opportunity for discussion and co-planning between the participants of the five countries of the project, sharing ideas and reflections with the migrant community too.
In 2024, the last international training will take place in Norway, in order to test the different approaches promoted by the project and finalise the latest pedagogical resources.
