The project aims to provide low skilled persons with a migratory background access to upskilling opportunities built around an easily accessible pathway comprising of three steps:

  • assessment to identify existing skills and upskilling needs;
  • a tailor-made offer of learning and coaching, to enable to update skills and fill possible deficits;
  • the opportunity to acquire specific knowledge and skills towards access to employment.
  • To provide entrepreneurship trainings tools for a public of potential migrant entrepreneurs, focusing especially on those in transition and psycho-socially challenged;
  • To make self-employment a viable option for migrants and displaced people in transition in Europe and also for those who wish to return to their country of origin;
  • To train the trainers as to use the entrepreneurial tools and modules that will be developed introducing and implementing a new methodology: @Home in Transition.
  • Learning Teaching and Training Activities) for trainers who will use programs on ICT and open educational resources (OER);
  • Delivery trainings for trainers on pedagogical leadership, especially towards working with people who may have a Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) with systems entrepreneurship, modern business operation models, European rules and regulations, as well as with topics related to running a business in Europe;
  • Organising workshops for adult learners with the objective of mainstreaming the educational resources of the “@Home in Transition methodology”.
  • Manual on Entrepreneurial Teaching Skill Development for Trainers addressed to trainers working with refugees/migrants/displaced people;
  • Innovative methodology called “@Home in Transition” based on design anthropology, behavioural science and co-creation techniques for the empowerment of the target group;
  • Tailor-made training offer of learning and coaching, to enable updating entrepreneurial skills and filling possible vocational deficits.

Results

  • Incremented learning offers from educators by developing a set of guidance and motivation strategies;
  • Engaged educators taking part in designing the training programs for their audiences;
  • Implementation local solutions through the engagement of trainers and educators to ease the transition from the status of temporal displaced to the independent and working citizens.
