ENEU partnership meeting in Florence: innovative training sessions for migrant entrepreneurship and access to self-employment

On 28 and 29 September 2023, the European partners of the ENEU project met in Florence to brainstorm together and plan the next steps. Specifically, during the meeting, the partners finalised the “Manual for Entrepreneurial Teaching Skills Development of Trainers”. The Manual targets all trainers and educators who carry out specific workshops on how to boost entrepreneurial skills of migrants.

The Manual focuses on management, business strategies, understanding of markets, etc. to provide migrants with specific knowledge and skills to create their startup and develop new and innovative business ideas, thus exploring their personal and professional skills, as well as their interests and professional aspirations.

In the following months, the partners will also test the methodology @Home in Transition, which specifically adopts a human-centered approach, supporting individuals in their personal and professional pathways.

The project therefore aims to help migrants, especially those who are currently in transition in Europe, to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills, let them be independent citizens and self-employed and highly qualified workers.
