The second DEAP newsletter highlights an important phase of the project, marked by international cooperation, knowledge exchange, and capacity-building activities. From project meetings in Sweden and Cyprus to preparations for the next implementation stages, the partnership continues to explore how art can become a powerful tool for inclusion and participation for young people with visual impairments.
A special focus is dedicated to the transnational training course held in Poland, where youth workers and educators explored the potential of sensory theatre and inclusive artistic methodologies. Through immersive experiences, practical workshops, and exchanges with professionals, participants gained new skills and perspectives on accessibility in the arts.
The newsletter also introduces the next stage of the project: local workshops in ceramics, dance, and theatre that will directly engage young people with visual impairments across the partner countries. This represents an important step in transforming European-level knowledge into meaningful local opportunities for creativity, personal growth, and empowerment.
