
On 31 January 2024, the partnership meeting of the ENEU project took place in Vienna. ENEU focuses on the empowerment of young migrants in Europe through the adoption of a tailored approach including career guidance for migrants.
During the meeting, partners shared the results of the pilot test, focusing on the use of educational materials and workshops conducted in Italy, Austria, Norway, Cyprus and Greece with educators, social workers, cultural mediators. The discussion highlighted the importance of adapting the @Home in transition methodology to meet the specific needs of migrant groups. The methodology will soon be available here for free download.
After a short break, the discussion shifted to mitigating the risks associated with the second phase of the project. The partners presented their strategies to address the challenges of engaging migrants, especially newcomers, within the local communities and let them be active citizens in the hosting countries. The session also explored the topic of promoting the project through social media and how to boost partner collaboration.
Overall, the meeting provided a clear overview for the future of the ENEU project, highlighting the partners’ commitment to empowering communities and migrants in their different national contexts.
