EU Programme: Erasmus+ KA2: Small-scale partnerships in Vocational Education and Training (VET)
Reference: 2022-1-SI01-KA210-VET-000084409
Start date: 01/10/2022
End date: 01/10/2024
The main aim is to explore possibilities and to build the first foundations for the development of a new profession/job profile called “Motivator for self-sufficiency«. Potential adults who can gain this new profession/job are adults who work as volunteers in adult education sector (VET, public, private, NGOs) and have interest to motivate other adults to start with self-sufficiency in food, especially long-term unemployed, passive, from urban or rural areas who lack knowledge of self-sufficiency.
Great attention is given on promoting social inclusion aiming at improving the outreach to people with fewer opportunities (diverse range of participants). Using the inclusive approach, GROW will contribute to the creation of inclusive environments that are responsive to the needs of the wider community in current time of crisis. Furthermore, the project is promoting green skills and social responsibility of education institutions, as it encourages the mindset that self-sufficiency is not just a matter of the agricultural sector, but much more broadly.
